Camp T. Frank Soles is organized around principles that have made the YMCA a leader in camping for more than 100 years.  Set in a valley, cradled by the Laurel Mountains of Pennsylvania, the camp provides modern day youngsters a chance to live close to the earth, steadily growing in spirit, mind and body.

      We believe that every child should have the chance to lay in a meadow, gazing at the stars.  To play hard… to reflect quietly… to be heard… to listen… to belong… and to feel the joy of accomplishment.

      Camp Soles keeps its promise to maintain an environment that is safe, wholesome and of course fun!  We believe that a good all-around summer camp, indeed captures the spirit of childhood, while helping tomorrows leaders become well-rounded citizens.

Our Mission

The YMCA of McKeesport is an open association organized to enhance the physical, mental and spiritual well being of its members and to be responsive to the diverse community it serves.  To this end, the YMCA of McKeesport provides programs and services and addresses community issues in concert with other organizations.  The association is a not-for-profit organization guided by volunteer and staff leadership.
