Family Camp
 | No doubt about it - Family Camp at YMCA Camp T. Frank
Soles is something unique. The Family Camp tradition at YMCA Camp Soles goes
back to its origins with plenty of shared experiences and memories along the
way. A most important part of a family camp is the community spirit involved.
Everyone - whether veteran families attending camp for years, or a "first-year
family" - comes to feel like one big family. This has to be experienced to be
believed! There are plenty of activities for the whole family to choose from!
Whether it's an early morning walk around Lake Tris . . . or a special trip
with other family campers to explore the beautiful State Parks that surround
us - Family Camp is certainly special! What is there to do at Family Camp?
We provide appropriate seasonal activities for "campers" of all ages! Camp activities for Family
Camp include instruction in: archery, riflery, arts & crafts, canoeing,
horsemanship, Zip Line and more! Nearby out-of-camp adventures include: White
Water Rafting in Ohiopyle, skiing or the Alpine Slide at Seven Springs, and visits to
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water or the beautiful Covered Bridges that are
nearby. Or you can just kick back and relax! The activities listed above are
all optional...it's OK just to head to the waterfront and sunbathe, or visit
the Outdoor Chapel for a little quite inspiration or to enjoy a leisurely hike
around camp. Your schedule is up to you!
